At penclix.com postage & packing is free for 'UK' orders over £10.00 and 'International' orders over £30.00.
All 'UK' orders below £10.00 will be charged at £1.50 postage and packing charge and all 'international' orders under £30.00 will be charged at £6.99 postage and packing charge. Please note we only deliver to the countries listed on the shipping page.
SEARCHING
We have designed our site to be as simple to use as possible while ensuring your online shopping experience is as safe and secure at all times. There are many ways to find what you are looking for:-
Quick Search - the quick search box is located at the top right of every page. Simply type a word or few words of the product you are looking for e.g. 'red gel pen' - this will list many products - so maybe try 'pilot red gel pen' which will list less products but hopefully the product you are looking for! Basically the more specific your search requirement is, the more specific the list of results will be !
Browsing The Categories - the most popular way of searching for products. The main areas of the site are on the left hand side of every page. A lot of the categories are broken down into sub categories which appear in the centre of the screen after clicking the category on the left hand side. You will also notice a random selection of products "top picks" from each section you are browsing below in the centre of the screen.
Banners - there are many banners or 'quick links' positioned on the left and right hand side of the site. All you have to do is click on the picture and it will take you directly to that particular range or group of products.
PURCHASING
Making a purchase with penclix.com is easy and secure.
Choosing an item - When you find an item you want to purchase, simply click on the 'Buy Now' button and the product will be added to your shopping cart. If you require more than one you can put a quantity in the box to the left of the button or simply click the button multiple times to add to the shopping cart. The shopping cart is permanently displayed in the top right hand side of your screen for easy reference.
Creating an account - The first time you make a purchase with us you will need to register and create an account. The account will store your name and address details for any future visits to penclix.com. This only takes a couple of minutes to set up and is fully secure. Any further visits to penclix.com will only require you logging into your account you created the first time you visited.
Checkout - When you are ready to buy, click the 'Checkout' button below the shopping cart located at the top right hand side of the screen. During the checkout process you will be asked to confirm the shipping address details and the cardholder address details. The checkout will display any delivery charges (free for all 'UK' orders over £10.00 and free for 'International' orders over £30.00). Please note that we currently only allow checkout where all items in your basket are in stock or they have the 'backorder' or 'preorder' button replacing the 'buy now' or 'out of stock' button. If there is insufficient stock on any items a message will appear in RED and you will be required to amend the quantity or remove the item(s) from the basket. Once you have confirmed the item(s) in your basket you will then need to enter you credit or debit card details in the boxes (completely secure and encrypted). We also accept Paypal, if selected you will be directed to login into your Paypal account instead. Finally verify all the details on the final page before clicking on the 'Confirm Order' button. You have the option of printing your order immediately by clicking the 'Print Order' button. You will also receive a confirmatory email with all your order details to the email address supplied upon registering.
Availability - It is possible from time to time that an item may be faulty or over ordered. In these cases we will refund you for the cost of the item(s) via your original payment method. If we believe we can offer you an alternative option, we will contact you via email first.
Free Gifts - We may occasionally offer customers free promotional gifts. Promotional gifts may be limited to one per person or one per order. If a minimum order value is required for a promotional item to be added to the order and any of the said order items are returned for a reason other than our fault then the free promtional item may need to be returned unopened and in a saleable condition.
VAT / TAX We are a verified member of the VAT accounting scheme with the customs & excise department. This means that the price you see is the price you pay. We have already paid any VAT due on all our products shipped to you.
